Six Point Films

In 1904, explorer Jacques Faitlovitch traveled to Ethiopia in search of one of the Ten Lost Tribes of Israelites, rumored to have been hidden there since biblical times. Faitlovitch, who believed he was leading a ‘holy mission’, journeyed through the exotic and mystical terrain of Africa with a small team of servants. He found what he sought, hidden deep in the land - a tribal group that had come to be known as “Falasha”, or “outcasts”.

Our film follows the bizarre African adventure of Dr. Faitlovitch, a complex and charismatic figure described as “scholar, anthropologist, and charlatan”.
